Five Month Stats

Greta is five months old today! She does not have a doctor check up for another month, so we did our "unofficial" at home stats to share:

Weight:

16 lbs. 4 oz.

(Oh my, that's 2 more lbs in one month - what a chunkles!!)

Height:

24.5"

(grew 3/4" in one month)

She still has no teeth peeking through but has been doing some serious drooling and hand munching for the past two months. She has found her feet so now it's a challenge to change her diaper because she is always holding onto her toes in dead bug pose. She loves her jump&go and we put her in it for at least 20 minutes a day to bounce around.

She wants nothing to do with books, I try to read to her all of the time but she gets very antsy. She would rather just "talk" to me in her own language. She is still sleeping in our room in the co-sleeper but she had outgrown it for the most part - now it's time to transition to the crib. Oh no!

Her bedtime is between 8:30 and 9 p.m. she usually sleeps until 3 or 4 am and is ready for a 4 oz bottle then back to lah-lah land until 7 a.m. All nights aren't that perfect since the teething has gotten more intense, but every nite we remain hopeful.
