Being in the confectionery industry has some flavorful perks and one of them is getting to sample the cutting edge in flavor fusions. Each year the sweet and savory pairings get a bit more wild.


A year and a half ago, Vosges milk chocolate bacon bar was all the rage. Now, that's just common place here in DC.

Current trend-setter is a truffle concocted from triple churned brie mixed with 70% dark chocolate and then dropped in a bed of dark roasted sesame seeds. Flavor fusion is an understatement for this morsel.
