It's been a loooong month..

Busy is not the word to describe this month. While Ms. Greta has been growing and learning all sorts of new things, work has kept Derek and myself quite busy. But in about 24 hours from now, we will be on the beaches of sunny, warm Jamaica.

Greta celebrated her 8 month birthday on the 21st. We did an unofficial weigh in and she came in just 2 ounces shy of 20 pounds. She is still rocking and rolling and any day - hour - minute from now we expect her to get the whole crawling concept down. Watch out!!

We did nothing spectacular over the Memorial Day weekend though Derek and I did make time to sneak away to catch the new Star Trek flick - even without Chris Pine - it is worth seeing on the big screen.

We also met up with the "tribe" for an outdoor lunch on Monday. As you can see from the pics - Greta really enjoyed the great outdoors in her bare toes.
