All Around Update

Sorry postings have been few and far between lately with little substance. It has been quite busy around our home.
TRAVEL
I leave in about a week for the ALL CANDY EXPO. I’ll be gone for five days and Daddy Derek will be in charge. He’ll do “wunderbar”. Last week I had an over nite trip to Cleveland for work and Derek handled the Grets like a natural.

FIRST ROAD TRIP
The road trip to Susan and Don’s wedding at the beginning of May was a terrific first experience. We stopped about halfway on each trip to eat and also feed her. She sat in high chair and we fed her while we ate. It was our first meal as a family. Does it matter that it was a DQ? Not a bit. Did she stare longingly at my raspberry truffle Blizzard begging with her big blue eyes for just one small taste? You bet :D
The nanny who watched Greta while we were attending the wedding did a fantastic job. Connie was a grandma herself so she exactly how to handle our stubborn lil bundle of activity. The wedding was held outside right on the beach and though it was a little breezy and cool, the lighting was perfect and the bride was beautiful. The reception after was on the water and it was quite a scene seeing the sunset on the bay and then enjoying a fabulous dinner with friends. They even had a photo strip box there (like you would see in a mall). What a blast.





The next day, Greta was able to attend to the bagel brunch at the indoor kid’s pool at the resort we stayed at. How cool. As you can see by the pics I posted, Susan and Don were delighted to see little Greta and Greta was completely enthralled by the pool.
