On Sunday Greta will be eight weeks old so we went for her check up today.
She's gained a total of 4 lbs and weighed in at a healthy 10 lbs 1 oz. She grew to 22 inches and was a complete trooper with the four immunization shots she braved. She also has sensitive skin which has culminated in a case of baby eczema on her face and back - the doc recommended Aveeno to help.
The zantac had not been working so well for her spit ups so, we are trying out prevacid instead. She has also developed a bad case of on going constipation to the point where both Derek and myself hope, wish and pray for a "pooh pooh" diaper at every changing. It's been nearly four days since she's had an unassisted bowel movement and the doc recommended a few feedings of prune juice per day. I'll let you if we get "lucky" any time soon.
Daddy wanted to come along to the appointment but he has been very busy traveling and doing demos with Nikon. Plus he has nasty sinus infection and both of his ears are plugged from the last flight he took. We have only seen each other two evenings of the last seven days. So home life has not been ideal in our camp but by January, his schedule will slow down and we can all spend some time together.

Jen, maybe it's the least of your worries, but just wanted you to know that Aveeno does testing on animals. I do not use their products for this reason. A call to the deramatologist should give better info on what to use.
