New Feeding Schedule

On the eleventh month, of the eleventh day, in the eleventh hour.. Happy Veteran's Day!! Keeping with the patriotic theme, here's a picture of Greta from last week after we went to the polls to cast our vote in the McCain vs. Obama competition. Does it really matter that she was "voting" off the ticket for sweet dreams and an extra feeding? :D

Sorry we have not been active on the blog but we have been busy the last few days putting Greta on a new schedule of sleeping and eating (and pooing). In the past, we were feeding her every 2-3 hours on demand including much "snacking" throughout the day. But found that our lives were full of chaos and never knew what the next hour would hold, so it was difficult to plan for anything from a doctor's appointment to daily shower - eeeek! Now we are feeding her on a set 3 hour schedule starting at 6 am in the morning. That way her body learns when to expect to eat and she can also anticipate her next meal/activity/nap. Plus Mommy can plan her downtime so she can get things done for herself and around the house.
What have other mom's done? On demand? Clock feeding? A combo? I'll keep you posted on the progress but so far so good...
