Holiday Wrap-up

The Skaggs-Ellek Entourage spent the Christmas holiday in St. Louis with Derek's Mom and Grandma Blanche. While there Greta got to open many presents and spend plenty of quality time with her family.


Now to address the question everyone asks at the water cooler after the holiday.. whadayaget??

Besides the Ocean Wonders crib toy every baby should have, Greta got plenty of new 3-6 month winter sleepers as well as a wide variety of Sassy teething toys, baby powder, squishy books, classic reads, and a ducky from Great Grandma Blanche she absolutely LOVES. I persuaded Derek NOT to get Greta the infamous boot-legged Princess Unicorn doll just yet :>

Derek's major gift from me was his plane ticket to STL so he could not only debut his little girl to family, but also catch the Pale Devine reunion show with his friends at the Pageant. Judy was more than generous (as usual) giving him everything from Brooks Brothers wear to an AMC movie gift card.

To help with my not-so pleasant work commute, Derek was thoughtful enough to get me a Sirius satelite stereo system for my car and I was completely tickled by the modern charm bracelet Judy got me bestowing Greta's intial. I'm not a jewelry lover, but this was the perfect gift that reminds me of Greta on a daily basis.















And what holiday would be complete without Grandma Blanche's signature gift that was gone before the end of our visit?
